THE TURTLE WHO TURNED THE TIDE 🐢 🌊

This is a beautiful story of two baby turtles, Tula and Tiny, and their race towards the sea under the full moon. But when Tiny gets distracted and goes the wrong way, Tula has to face the difficult decision: Will she choose to win the race or turn back to rescue her little brother?

When her bold choice brings the animals together, Tula discovers that no matter how small, we all have the power to change things for all.

It was a challenge to illustrate as most of the story takes place at night, except for the later part of the story.
So it was trying to find ways to use the moonlight and the glow of the fireflies to illuminate the scenes.

Fun factoid… 🐢 turtles are Rachel’s favourite animal and one of mine too! I have multiple!
